QuickBooks Online Simple Start, Essentials or Ledger is included with all packages
Categorizing - (weekly) keeping track of where the money comes from and goes, by organizing transactions into groups like income, expenses, assets and liabilities. This makes financial reporting easier. The business checking account, as well as any credit card accounts, are connected with QuickBooks in the bank feed section. Then all expenses and income are reviewed and properly categorized so the business can get the right kind of deductions. This is crucial for tax time.
Reconciling - (monthly) comparing statements from bank and credit card accounts with the financial records in QuickBooks; making sure all transactions are accurately recorded. They need to be “matched” one by one. Any discrepancies are carefully looked into and adjustments are made.
Month End Reports - (sent out during the first week of the month) providing monthly Income Statements - also called Profit & Loss Reports - showing a summary of your business’ revenues and expenses, thus displaying the Net Income for the specific time period. These reports contain data that can be used to track revenue growth, and manage costs effectively. Comparing current month with previous months is helpful in seeing where changes can be made.

Accounts Payable - paying your bills (…with your money, of course!) using a weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly schedule. This is either done manually by using checks, or set up as a scheduled payment in QuickBooks under Bill Pay
Accounts Receivable - keeping track of money owed to your business for goods / services you have delivered but have not been paid for yet. Invoices can be sent out by email or hard copy mailing. When payments to the business are received, they are applied to the matching invoice, and a receipt is emailed to the customer. Getting paid on time helps with cash flow.

Chart of Accounts Reorganization - to better match how your business is organized, using a number system for all transactions - the primary categories and their respective subcategories.
Vendor Comparison - doing a side-by-side comparison of different vendors, looking at quality, price, delivery time, customer service, reliability. Comparing multiple vendors is important for choosing the best one for your needs. This can be done periodically or done as just a one-time service.
Budget Management for Non-Profits - a budget is a guide that can help you plan for the future. Its good practice to periodically review the budget, as well as compare it to the actual cash flow and expenses.
Donor Management for Non-Profits - involves regular recording of donations into QuickBooks (or another system already in place). Examining giving history and analyzing the data - about the current and potential supporters - can help greatly in communications and fundraising.
*Catch Up - posting and classifying past transactions. Whether you are behind a month or a year, I am here to update your records efficiently.
*Clean Up - ensuring you have proper system set-up, reviewing/organizing the Chart of Accounts, reclassification of incorrect entries, etc.
